Who is Design Ministry?
Design Ministry was founded by Auckland based graphic designer Samantha Vergis.
Samantha has always had a passion for textiles, in particular Scandinavian inspired monochrome prints and design.
Where are your products made?
The Design Ministry collection is designed, printed and manufactured in New Zealand.
We believe in supporting locally made products that have attention to detail.
Why is your collection specifically monochrome?
Being monochrome gives the freedom to add any colour to suit your home.
Where can I view your products in person?

What fabric Does Design Ministry use for printing?
We print mainly on 100% cotton and linen.
What is thread count?
Thread count simply refers to how many threads lengthwise and widthwise are woven into one square inch of fabric. With finer threads more can be woven into each square inch which produces a finer, softer and more flexible material. With this in mind, it is important to not assume the definition of luxurious bedding is always a high thread count. Whilst thread count is a consideration, there are other important features to measuring comfort, quality, and value. This includes the type of cotton, the feel of the fabric and the nature of the finishing process.
What is percale sheeting?
Percale is a closely woven, plain weave, spun fabric made from both carded and combed yarns. Percale sheeting is the finest available; the high thread count (above 180) gives the fabric a soft, silk-like feel.
What thread count does Design Ministry use?
We use 100% cotton drill and 100% cotton percale sheeting with a thread count of 180.
How often can we expect new products/designs?
We aim to launch new product every 4-6 months.
The new designs will mix into the original Design Ministry collections so it is possible to build on your range when it suits you.
